If you have been asked to register on this site by your Local Authority, you need to provide the full information as requested on each form. Failure to do so will lead to a delay in the approval of the request, or the request not being granted at all.
You will need to provide all information requested to enable the Council to make a decision on the request you are applying for. This information is required to approve the request (such as your bank details and proof of ID) and to protect against fraud and abuse of public funds as well as to allow the Government to monitor the requests being made.
Grants For Residents:
Test and Trace Support Payment
People who meet all the following conditions may be eligible for the payment:
- You must have been instructed to Self Isolate directy by NHS Test and Trace
- You are the parent or guardian of a child in your household who is self-isolating, and you need to take time off work to care for them
- On a low income
- On certain benefits
- Can't work from home
- Lost income due isolating
When completing this request, you will be required to provide the following documents:
- An NHS Test and Trace Reference Number.
- Bank statements from the last 3 months.
- And your most recent Payslip.
Test and Trace Discretionary Payments
People who don't meet the requirements above may still be able to receive funding from your council.

National Restart Grants
National Schemes for Business Restart Grants have now closed.
If there are any discretionary business grant schemes available, such as Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) they will be available here.

Expanded Retail Discount
Expanded Retail Discount is avaliable to eligible businesses occupying hereditaments in England from 1st July 2021.
Eligible businesses who were mandated to close by government 5th Jan 2021 are subject to a cash cap of £2,000,000 across the whole of england.
Eligible businesses who were not mandated to close are subject to a cash cap of £105,000 across the whole of england.
Nursery (Childcare) Discount
Nursery (Childcare) Discount is avaliable to eligible businesses occupying hereditaments in England from 1st July 2021.
At the Budget on 3 March 2021, the Chancellor announced that the Nursery Discount would continue to apply at 100% for eligible properties for the first three months of 2021 from 1 April 2021 to 30 June 2021.
Subsequently, from 1 July 2021 to 31 March 2022, the Nursery Discount will apply at 66%. From 1 July 2021, the relief will be capped at £105,000 per business.
